Michelle Langusch
Patient Support Specialist
Michelle Langusch comes to The Blood Cancer Foundation of Michigan with a BA in Psychology from Wayne State, and a Master’s in Clinical & Humanistic Psychology from the Center for Humanistic Studies (now Michigan School of Psychology).
In her career as a clinical psychologist, Michelle worked with agencies that serve adults and children with developmental disabilities. She has a strong personal and professional history of supporting people with chronic and acute medical conditions, and she's honored to work with a team so dedicated to supporting people with blood cancer.
As a BCFM Patient Support Specialist, Michelle will provide support to those grappling with a blood cancer diagnosis. She will assist them in navigating their journey, and connect them to resources so they feel less alone.
Michelle is thrilled to be working at BCFM! “I'm excited to get to know the patients and families I'll be serving, learning their story, and walking beside them through their journey. It will be an honor to connect them to important resources that will lighten their load.”
Michelle is mom to two daughters (19 & 21) and two kitties – Teena & Fitz.
