Stacey Anderson named director of development at Blood Cancer Foundation of Michigan (Oakland Press, 1/30/21)

Stacey Anderson has been named director of development at the Blood Cancer Foundation of Michigan (BCFM), formerly Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan. BCFM is a nonprofit, based in Farmington Hills. Heidi Grix, president and CEO of BCFM, made the announcement in a press release.

Anderson will oversee fundraising programs and development activities for the nonprofit’s mission of supporting patients, and their families, with a blood cancer diagnosis.

She previously served at the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation as national director of development. She had also served as vice president at Aly Sterling Philanthropy and development director at CAPS, an Indiana-based nonprofit supporting families to prevent child abuse and neglect.

Anderson graduated from Grand Valley State University. She is a member of the Greater Detroit Chapter Association of Fundraising Professionals and previously served as co-chair of the programs committee.
