When you’re facing the stresses of a serious illness, there are times that you just need to escape, even if only for a few hours. Unfortunately, when medical issues take up your time and finances, recreation and entertainment are usually the first things to get cut.

The Blood Cancer Foundation of Michigan gives patients and families a chance to relax by hosting a variety of fun-filled, free events. These include holiday parties, dinner and movie nights, picnics, outings to the zoo, bowling parties, ice skating events, and more.
