Until it happens to you, it’s hard to fathom the stress that a leukemia diagnosis can bring. The Buchanan family of Clarkston knows this feeling all too well. After surviving two bouts of breast cancer herself, and then learning four-year-old son Jackson was on the autism spectrum, Emily Buchanan and her Marine Contractor husband Matt assumed the worst was behind them.
